Rudolf Lukeš (1923-1976) was a Czech film set designer, book illustrator, and author. He wrote and designed pop-up books.

He was born in Prague. He worked as a set designer for Barrandov Studios on film productions. until after the Communist takeover.

He was married to Taťána. He worked at the National Technical Museum. He was paralyzed by a stroke.[1]

He refused to join the Communist Party.[2]
