Robert Walker and Robert M. Walker should link here
Robert Major Walker is a former mayor of Vicksburg, Mississippi. He was its first African American mayor. He helped advocate for a civil war monument to African American soldiers.[1] He served two terms as mayor.[2]
In 2019, Vicksburg's city hall annex building was renamed for him.[3]
