Robert J. Nelson (May 20,1873 - February 2, 1949) He worked as a messenger / clerk? for the Department of Mines. He lived in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Douglass Publishing Company.

Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, he was African American.
