Career

[edit]Born in Edinburgh,[2] Mohammed spent much of his youth career with local side Hutchison Vale where he averaged 40 goals a season, and during his time there would represent the Scotland Schools team.[3] In 2022, Mohammed joined the youth squad of Scottish League One club Alloa Athletic, and would impress through scoring 35 goals over a four-month period.[4] On 7 February 2023, Mohammed received his senior debut with the Wasps, coming on as a substitute and winning a penalty which led to a late equaliser in a league draw against Falkirk.[5]
In August 2023, Mohammed signed for Dundee and was assigned to their development squad.[6] Mohammed made his debut for Dundee's B team in the 2023–24 Scottish Challenge Cup against Buckie Thistle, and scored his first goal for the club within the first minute.[7] On 19 January 2024, Mohammed joined Scottish League Two club Forfar Athletic on loan until the end of the season.[8][9] He made his debut for the Loons the following day as a substitute in the Scottish Cup game at home to Hibernian.[10] Mohammed scored his first goal for Forfar on 10 February 2024, netting the equaliser in a league draw away to Dumbarton.[11] On 9 March, Mohammed scored Forfar's equaliser in a comeback league win against Clyde.[12]
On 30 July 2024, Mohammed scored the opener in a 2–0 victory for Dundee B over Highland League side Formartine United in the Scottish Challenge Cup.[13] On 13 September, Mohammed returned on loan to Forfar Athletic until January 2025.[14][15] He made his 2nd debut for the Loons off the bench away to The Spartans in the league.[16] After a short spell, Mohammed left Forfar on 8 November and immediately joined Lowland League club Berwick Rangers on loan until January.[17][18] He made his debut for the Borderers on 9 November, starting in a home league win over Albion Rovers.[19] The following week, Mohammed scored his first goal for Berwick in an East of Scotland Qualifying Cup victory over Armadale Thistle.[20]
