Rasheen Smith (born in South Central Los Angeles) is an American entrepreneur, investor, and innovator with a career spanning wellness, technology, and entertainment. He is the Founder of Flexpower, a wellness brand specializing in plant-based recovery products, the Co-Founder and president of Realcast, an extended reality (XR) gaming studio, and a Venture Partner at Elefund, a venture capital firm.


Early Life and Education

Rasheen Smith was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles. Despite facing significant challenges, he pursued higher education and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.[1]


Career

Flexpower

[edit]

In 2004, Smith founded Flexpower, a wellness brand originally developed to support the recovery needs of elite athletes. The brand’s plant-based pain relief and self-care products have been utilized by over 1,000 teams and institutions across 20 countries. Flexpower later expanded into the luxury self-care market, making its products widely accessible to non-athletes.[2][3][4]

The brand gained significant recognition when NBA player Giannis Antetokounmpo endorsed Flexpower for aiding in his recovery. Flexpower's products have been featured in prominent publications such as Forbes, WWD, and C Magazine.[5][6][7]

Realcast

In 2021, Smith co-founded Realcast, an extended reality gaming studio focused on creating games and immersive experiences for platforms like Meta Quest and Apple Vision Pro.[8]

Elefund

In 2022, Smith joined Elefund as a venture partner. At Elefund, he advises portfolio companies on strategy, product development, and growth. The venture platform is known for supporting early-stage companies across consumer tech, gaming, and SaaS sectors.[9]
