Purushottamacharya (Sanskrit: पुरुषोत्तमाचार्य, पुरुषोत्तम, romanizedPuruṣottamācārya, Puruṣottama;c. 9th century[5][8]) also known as Puruṣottama, was a vedantic philosopher and theologian. He was a disciple of Viśvācārya and the third after Nimbarka.[3][1] He was 7th acharya of Nimbarka Sampradaya. Purushottamacharya composed Vedāntaratnamañjūṣā, a commentary on Nimbārkācharya's work Vedanta kamadhenu dashashloki[2]
