Princess of the Silver Woods is a 2012 fantasy novel written by Jessica Day George. Similar to how its prequels, Princess of the Midnight Ball, is based on the Twelve Dancing Princesses and Princess of Glass is based on Cinderella, Princess of the Silver Woods is based on Little Red Riding Hood.
Characters
[edit]- Princess Petunia: The youngest of twelve princesses.
- Oliver: Petunia's love interest. Leader of the Wolves of the Westfalin Woods. He was to be an earl but lost his title and estate following the end of the war between Westfalin and Analousia ten years ago.
- Simon: Oliver's fifteen-year-old brother.
- Lady Emily: Oliver and Simon's mother. She was a friend of Petunia's mother's and came with her to Breton when she first married King Gregor before marrying herself to an earl.
