Prima Facie is an upcoming film starring and produced by Cynthia Erivo. It is an adaptation of the stage play of the same name by Suzie Miller with Miller adapting the stage play herself. Production is by Participant and Bunya Productions. Susanna White will direct.

Synopsis

Tessa has risen from a working class background to be a confident and successful defence lawyer. However, her confidence is shaken one night by the actions of a colleague.^[1]

Greer Simpkin, David Jowsey and Jenny Cooney will produce the feature for Bunya with Robert Kessel and Elizabeth Haggard for Participant. Suzie Miller, Solome Williams and Jeff Skoll will executive produce alongside Cynthia Erivo. The film is based on the Miller one-woman play of the same name.^[2]
