Pride is an upcoming Netflix film. It is an adaptation of the 2018 young adult novel of the same name by Ibi Zoboi, itself a reimagine of a Jane Austen classic novel.

[edit]The film is scripted by Karen Joseph Adcock, adapting the Ibi Zoboi novel Pride, a reimagining of the 1813 novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, transposed to the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. The film has Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Koplovitz Dutton producing for Alloy Entertainment and Vinnie Malhotra, Anikah McLaren and Mark Wright producing for Higher Ground Productions.[1]
