Prezent is the first Japanese (fifth overall) EP by South Korean boy group Zerobaseone. It will be released by WakeOne and Lapone Entertainment on January 29, 2025. The EP contains six tracks, including Japanese versions of the band's 2024 Korean-language singles "Feel the Pop" and "Good So Bad", and "Only One Story", which was previously released by the band as part of the original soundtrack for Pokémon Horizons: The Series.
In March 2024, Zerobaseone made their Japanese debut with the song "Yura Yura (Unmei no Hana)". The song was a commercial success, debuting at number one on the Oricon Singles Chart[1], becoming the first foreign artist to sell over 300,000 copies in the first week with a debut single.[2] The song went on to be certified 2x Platinum by the RIAJ for sales of over 500,000 copies.[3] The group also held two sold out fan concerts at Yokohama Arena,[3] and will return for five further concerts on the Timeless World tour in late 2024.[4]
Prezent, Zerobaseone's first Japanese-language EP, was announced on November 11.[4] In the announcement, WakeOne confirmed that the EP would contain six tracks, including "Now or Never" and "Only One Story", which will serve as dual title tracks.[5] "Only One Story" was previously released in October 2024 to serve as the opening song to Pokémon Horizons: The Series. The EP will also include the previously-released Japanese-language versions of the band's Korean singles "Good So Bad" and "Feel the Pop".[4]
