Pragjyotishpur University is an Indian private university located in Guwahati, Assam, established by the Act No. 46 of 2022 of Assam Legislative Assembly, under the aegis of Shankar dev Education and Research Foundation.^[1]^[2] The incumbent VC of the

university is Prof. Smriti Kumar Sinha.

The university offers several undergraduate and postgraduate-level courses including PhD programs ^[3] in Science, Arts, Commerce, Pharmacy, Law, etc.
