The Ponnakani Mariamman Temple is dedicated to the goddess Mariamman, located in the village of Ponnakani in Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu. It is situated approximately 28 kilometers from Coimbatore. The goddess here, known as Arulmigu Ponnakani Mariamman, is believed to have self-manifested around 400 years ago and is regarded as the protective deity of eighteen nearby villages. The temple’s annual festival, held in November, is particularly famous and attracts numerous devotees.
