Pokua is a short film directed by Pure Akan and Jennifer Kesewa, who wrote the screenplay. The story follows Pokua, a girl who has a strained relationship with her mother. However, when she moves into a new neighborhood, she is comforted by a genuine friendship with her new neighbor, Ofori. Through this friendship, Pokua learns that love can come from anywhere, and that it isn't tied to those we share family ties with.
