Submission declined on 2 July 2024 by MicrobiologyMarcus (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

PPBSO should be a redirect to The Pipers and Pipe Band Society of Ontario. LeapTorchGear (talk) 03:22, 20 March 2024 (UTC)
Founded in 1947, the Pipers’ and Pipe Band Society of Ontario (PPBSO) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organisation dedicated to the development, preservation, and promotion of piping and drumming in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
One of seven Canadian Pipe Band Associations,[1] the Pipers and Pipe Band Society of Ontario (PPBSO) extends a formal, accredited system of pipe band contest rules and an established panel of judges.
The PPBSO is the governing body adjudicating all solo player and pipe band competitions across the Province of Ontario including the prestigious North American, Canadian[2], and Ontario Pipe Band Championships.[3]
The PPBSO also provides mentorship programs, seminars, and educational opportunities to enhance the musical proficiency of pipers and drummers in the Province. In addition, the Society also offers financial support to member pipe bands to operate clinics, events, and workshops.[4]
The PPBSO is composed of five (5) branches that represent the areas of: Niagara/Hamilton, Ottawa, Toronto, Western Ontario, and Windsor. Individually these branches host their own events and contests throughout the year including The George Sherriff Invitational, The Toronto Indoor Games, The Agnew-Harrison Invitational, The Livingstone Invitational, and The Glengarry Cup Invitational respectively.
