Philip T. Ventre (born November 30, 1943) is an American conductor and trumpeter. He conducted the Choate Rosemary Hall Symphony Orchestra for 50 years.[1]
Early life
[edit]Ventre was born on November 7? 1943 in Abington, Massachusetts.[2] He attended the New England Conservatory, graduating with a bachelor of music education in 1965 and attaining a master's degree in music in 1973.[3] During his time there as a graduate student, he founded the Artists Brass Quintet.
