Dr. Paul Faduola is a renowned Nigerian Clinical Embryologist, Founder and Scientific Director at Androcare Fertility Centre as well as OncoGenomics. He is a highly experienced clinical embryologist certified by the American College of Embryology (EMA-EMBCOL) and holds several prestigious certifications and fellowships, including being a Fellow of the Society of Applied Biotechnology (FSAB) and the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria (FIMC). Additionally, he is a Chartered Biologist certified by the Royal Society of Biology and a Chartered Scientist certified by the Science Council (UK) <1,2,3,4>
Early Life and Education Dr. Paul Faduola was born in [Jos, Nigeria]. He pursued his degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences and specializes in Haematology and Blood Group Serology at Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma,Edo State. After Graduation, he pursue professional training in Clinical Embryology at Genesis reproductive centre in pretoria,south Africa, EART in India and Clinic de Reproduccion Assisida-IVI Barcelona, Spain. Career After completing his specialization, Dr. Faduola joined Nordica Fertility Centre, where he gained extensive experience in fertility treatments. In 2019, he founded Androcare Fertility Centre, a leading fertility clinic in Lagos, Nigeria <1>. Under his leadership, Androcare has achieved several milestones, including ISO 9001 certification for quality management.
Contributions to Reproductive Medicine Dr. Faduola has been instrumental in introducing advanced fertility treatments in Nigeria, including Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) and Pre-implantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy (PGT-A). His work has significantly improved the success rates of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) in the country.He is the first to introduce non-invasive pre-implantation Genetic Testing(niPGT-A) in Nigeria.Other notable contributions include being the Clinical Embryologist responsible for the first successful pregnancy and delivery from Intracytoplasmic Morphologically Selected Sperm Injection (IMSI) in West Africa <2,8-12>. He has also been active in promoting awareness about reproductive health and fertility issues. Dr. Faduola frequently participates in seminars, workshops, and public awareness campaigns aimed at educating the public about fertility preservation and treatment options <7>.
Research and Publications Dr. Faduola has contributed to several research studies in the field of reproductive medicine. His publications in peer-reviewed journals focus on the latest advancements in fertility treatments and their applications in a Nigerian context. He has presented his research findings at various international conferences, contributing to the global discourse on fertility and reproductive health <5,6>.
