Our Movie (Korean: 우리 영화) is an upcoming South Korean melodrama television series co-written by Han Ga-eun and Kang Kyung-min, directed by Lee Jung-heum, and starring Namgoong Min and Jeon Yeo-bin. It is a touching love story about Lee Je-ha and Lee Da-eum, who each live with their own illnesses, completing a melodrama based on a limited time. It is scheduled to premiere on SBS TV in 2025, and will air every Friday and Saturday.
Synopsis
[edit]Our Movie tells the story of a film director suffering from the sophomore jinx (a symptom in which a person who was excellent at the beginning rapidly declines in skill) and a free-spirited aspiring actor who heals their wounds and falls in love while filming a movie together.
Cast and characters
[edit]- Nam Goong Min as Lee Je Ha
- A man who followed in the footsteps of his father, a master of the film industry, and became a film director. He received worldwide attention for his debut film, which earned him the nickname of a genius, but he is now a character who is obsessed with the sophomore jinx and does nothing. After a long hiatus of five years, he begins working on his second film based on a limited-time subject.
- Jeon Yeo Bin as Lee Da Ha, an aspiring actor suffering from a rare and incurable disease. She is terminally ill and has a limited-time, is a person with an incredible sociability that everyone in the hospital knows. While giving advice on a limited-time film, he becomes interested in the script and experiences a new turning point as an aspiring actor.
