Omar Cooper Jr. (born December 14, 2003) is an American football wide receiver for the Indiana Hoosiers.

Early life

Cooper attended Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis, Indiana where he played football and basketball. Cooper hauled in 132 catches in three seasons for 2,856 yards and 22 touchdowns. After his senior season, Cooper underwent surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.[1] On December 17, 2021, Cooper committed to play college football at the University of Indiana.[2]

On September 2, 2022, Cooper made his Indiana debut against Illinois returning one kickoff for 21 yards. Cooper played four games in 2022, returning four kickoffs for 63 yards before redshirting.
