Oliver Epp (born 1994) is a British artist living and working in London. He is best known for his Post-Digital Pop aesthetic. [1] The Los Angeles Times labled him the modern day Roy LichtensteinRoy Lichtenstein [2]
His work has been exhibited internationally, including at The Museum of Fine Arts, Leipzig Germany and Schlossmuseum, Linz Austria.
His work is held in collections including Museum of Modern Art, Paris, Museum of Modern Art, Montreal Museum of Fina Arts, Paris, and V&A Museum's Permanent Print Collection.[3]
Early life and education
[edit]Oli Epp was born to Canadian parents, and raised in Wimbledon, London. Epp took an interest in art at an early age, and studied his BFA at City & Guilds, London. [4] graduating in 2017. Alongside Florence Yucknovich and Natalia Gonzalez Martin, Epp founded the Baton Prize.
Epp is the cousin of Canadian artist Wanda Koop.
Career
[edit]In 2021, Epp's work sold for almost 10 times it's highest estimate for £144,900[5] [6]
