Idowu Solomon Olamilekan (born 22 Aprill 2003), known by his stage name as Olamzzy, is a Nigerian hip-hop singer. His music is influenced by Nigerian artists such as Burna Boy, Olamide and Wizkid. Olamzzy is currently signed to Empire Nation Entertainment.[1]
Background and career
[edit]Olamzzy was born Ifo, Ogun State and raised in Ilorin where he received his secondary school education at Gaa Akanbi Secondary School. His interest in music began during his teen years while in secondary school in Ilorin where he was influenced by a combination of traditional and contemporary sounds.[2] His hip-hop performance is influenced by works of artistes such as Olamide, Burna Boy and Wizkid. He was previously signed to Zeh Nation record label owned by Portable, a street-hop singer where he received his first music endorsement before moving to Empire Nation Entertainment in 2022.[3] In 2024, Olamzzy released his EP titled Milestone containing singles such as Omo Lile, Gbemidebe, and More Celebration under Empire Nation Entertainment.[4]
