Latvia dosent have any operational Nuclear reactors.
Latvia dosent have any Operational nuclear reactors, but it has one Nuclear reactor in Salaspils that is used for Research purposes and it was shutdown in 1998. The government of Latvia shut it down because they thought it was useless and it will cost alot of money to upkeep it and maintain it. Most of the Nuclear energy inports come from the Lithuanian Nuclear reactor in Ignalina but when it got shutdown in 2008 the main Nuclear energy inporter became Russia.
