Adeniyi Osamiluyi is a Nigerian entrepreneur and medical doctor. He is the founder of Premier Medical Systems, Omowunmi and Dokilink. He is the convener of Africa Digital Health Summit and the Physician of the Year Awards.[1][2][3][4]
Education and career
[edit]Osamiluyi studied medicine at the University of Ilorin. He received a certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from the Enterprise Development Centre of the Pan-Atlantic University in 2011 and a certificate in Social Sector Management from the same university in 2015. Osamiluyi worked with Ogun State government until he resigned in 2014 and created his company, Premier Medical Systems (PMS).[5]
Omowunmi, Dokilink and Premier Medical Systems

[edit]Osamiluyi created Omowunmi in 2014 through his desire to reduce maternal mortality rate in Nigeria. Omowunmi is a GSM software that enhances maternal health delivery in Nigeria. Omowunmi was created to deliver health information and education to pregnant women in Nigeria. This service is currently being used by health insurance companies in Nigeria.[6][7]
DokiLink
[edit]DokiLink is an online community of African medical doctors. Consumers can book appointments with specialists through the DokiLink platform.[8][9] Initially launched as an online social network for doctors in Nigeria, in 2013, DokiLink has expanded since 2018 to many African countries.[10][11]
Premier Medical Systems
[edit]Premier Medical Systems is a digital health social enterprise, with the focus on leveraging IT to improve access of the underserved to healthcare in Africa. The company specializes in the design, development, deployment and support of solutions in the healthcare sector.
Physician of the Year Awards
[edit]Osamiluyi, through his company Premier Medical System, also organizes the annual Physician of the Year Awards with the 2023 edition the 5th in its series.[12] The award was created to recognize and celebrate the achievements and contributions of physicians and policymakers who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and excellence in the field of medicine.[13][14]
Africa Digital Health Summit
[edit]Osamiluyi, through his company Premier Medical System, also organizes the annual Africa Digital Health Summit with the 2024 edition the 4th in its series. For the 2024 edition, 400 participants from 15 countries attended and showcased 91 digital health abstracts.[15][16][17][18][19]
