Nitin Solanke (born 1990) is an Indian[1] social activist who served as the president and leader of the GDKF in Nagpur. He is also a political activist in the Nagpur local area.
Earlier life and Education
[edit]Nitin Solanke was born on March 11, 1990, and raised in Yavatmal District, Maharashtra. Nitin’s father, Mr. Manikrao, was employed at the factory then, as was Nitin’s mother, Housewife.
Nitin's grandfather was the famous “Kirtankar” in their area; his grandmother had fought with tigers and saved the lives of two people, From his grandparents, Nitin learned the values of social awareness and social services.
During his college days, Nitin Solanke studied till last at Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University in Nashik, Nagpur. Nitin took part in several student welfare activities organized by the school.
Nitin cleared his 10th-grade board exam in Rashtriya Madhyamika Ashram school[2] in Yavatmal district in 0 with first division After school, Nitin joined Dr Madhukarrao Wasnik PWS College Nagpur, taking up arts in classes 11 & 12 He then graduated with a degree in mass communication from Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University at Nashik in 2015, earning first class.
Social Career
[edit]While at the Nagpur College of Graduation, Nitin began getting involved in social activities outside and inside of the college. He always participates in cultural events after college, both in print and electronic media, to support his family financially. While doing this job, he explores all over the country. During his media job, many essentials’ products and goods are not getting to the customer in proper quantity & quality. He realized that some businessmen chit the customer for more benefit, so Nitin decided to be the voice of the consumer and formed the Grahak Dakshata Kalyan Foundation in Nagpur in 2023.
The Grahak Dakshata Kalyan foundation works for consumer interest consumer respect, consumer equality and consumer safety Through Grahak Dakshata Kalyan Foundation Nitin, we try to protect customer rights, promote social welfare and ensure customer well-being.
On April 20, 2023, he was warned against corruption in LPG gas cylinders. He introduced the first programme under his foundation (the domestic gas cylinder), and it’s essential for preventing illegal uses. He launches awareness campaign with his team in all over India. He with his team takes press conference in different cities in India to aware domestic gas cylinder importance and causes by domestic gas cylinder illegal uses.
He now introduced a new project under his “Stree Mahashakti” Foundation (Grahak Dakshata Kalyan Foundation) with the associated Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC). The newly launched programme provides women with a clean and sanitized toilet and mother-feeding centre.
He aims to bring more than 100 small units’ toilets and mother-feeding centres to Nagpur city under this project. Nitin Solanke generates women employment as well as women safety under (Stree Mahashakti), the project introduced on a pilot basis.
