Nicholas Howon Park (born December 25, 1974) is an attorney and the Non-Executive Chairman of the Global Board of Dentons – the world’s largest global law firm.[1][2][3][4] Park also serves as senior managing attorney at Dentons Lee in South Korea and specializes in mergers, intellectual property, and entertainment.[5][6]

Career
[edit]Prior to joining Dentons, Park worked at the Doosan Strategic Management Team and the U.S. law firm Coudert Brothers.[8] Park later returned to Korea where he was the co-managing partner at Lee International IP & Law Group[9] later combining with Dentons in 2020 to form Dentons Lee.[10] Park currently oversees Dentons’ Global Board, the Global Advisory Committee, and the General Assembly of the Verein, as Non-Executive Chairman.[8]
Awards and Honors
[edit]In 2017, Nicholas Park received the Finance Monthly M&A Award for the Mergers & Acquisitions Lawyer of the Year in the South Korean region.[11] In 2022, Park was profiled in the Asian Legal Business (Thomas Reuters) Korea Super 30 list.[12]
Park received the Young Leader Award by the Korean American Association in 2020.[13] He has also received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award in 2018 for his charitable works in having raised over $10 million in donations for orphanages across Korea. He has also received the Minister of Justice Award in 2019 for promoting online positive comments and anti-hate speech.[12]
