New York Will Eat You Alive is an upcoming American zombie action-comedy film based on the webcomic Zombie Brother by Ja Kaibo, directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and starring Colin Firth and Victor Ma.
Plot

[edit]On March 29, 2017, Channing Tatum’s company Free Association and Tencent Pictures were set to produce Zombie Brother, a film based on Jia Haibo’s webcomic of the same name with David Sandberg attached to direct and Matt Lieberman writing the screenplay.[1] On May 9, 2018, STX Entertainment joined the production of Zombie Brother.[2] On September 9, 2019, Todd Strauss-Schulson was set to produce the movie and direct instead of Sandberg.[3] On November 6, 2020, the movie was entitled “New York Will Eat You Alive” and that Alex Rubens, Dan Gregor and Doug Mand have screenwriting credits.[4]
Casting
[edit]On November 6, 2020, Colin Firth was casted in the film.[4] On May 5, 2021, Victor Ma was casted in the film.[5]
