Nemrud Kurt, (born 13 December 1991), is a Swedish author and journalist. He has published three novels and written several articles on Aftonbladet and the Swedish National Television.

Career

Kurt started to write chronicles at the age of 11.[1] In 2014, he graduated with a degree in journalism. The same year, he worked at Aftonbladet.[2] In 2017, he worked at the Swedish National Television, where he wrote articles[3] and participated as a football expert in the morning studio. In 2023, he became a freelance copywriter.[4] The same year, he started to work at TV4.[5]

As an author, he published his first novel Blatten Annorlunda (The different immigrant) in 2014.[6] In 2015, he published his second one, De döda lär de levande (The dead teaches the leaving).[7] In 2021, he published his third novel, Det är bara i ditt huvud (It's only in your head).

Personal life

Kurt is of Assyrian descent, from Tur Abdin. He was born and raised in Stockholm. His father Augin is also a journalist, previously working at the Swedish National Radio.[8]
