Submission declined on 25 July 2024 by Wikishovel (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Life & Career
[edit]Del Carmen was raised in Los Angeles, CA and grew up learning music since the age of 8. Inspired by artists like Brandi Carlile, The Lumineers, and Gregory Alan Isakov, she began sharing her music on YouTube in 2012, steadily building a dedicated following throughout the 2010s. In 2016, her cover of The Lumineers' song "Cleopatra" garnered 35,000 views and caught the attention of the band, who acknowledged her cover on X (formerly Twitter).
Del Carmen's musical education began with piano lessons at age eight, followed by teaching herself acoustic guitar at twelve. During high school, she played the flute for seven years and, in 2020, began playing her grandfather's vintage ∼1930s banjo.
In 2019, Del Carmen attended Berklee College of Music[7] in Boston, MA and spent 3 years studying Songwriting, graduating with a Bachelor of Music in 2022. Del Carmen has worked with Brunjo[8] in Kingston Springs, TN on the majority of her production work and collaborated with Billboard Chart-Topping producer Zack Burke[9] on singles "Achilles' Dire End,"[10] "The Highway," and "You Weren't Even Listening."[11] During her time at Berklee College of Music, she met Coburn Larsen, Nashville-based singer-songwriter, producer and Jackson Hole, WY native, and the duo released "Peace in Mind" off of Del Carmen's Bloodline, produced by Brunjo,[12] and co-produced "Love in Vain" together off of her EP Tandem Songs.
Del Carmen is the daughter of Manuel Luis Gonzales del Carmen, professionally known as Louie del Carmen, an American animator, storyboard artist, illustrator and director originally from Cavite City, Philippines.
