Nano Lopez, known by his ring name Starboy, is a professional wrestler from Galicia, Spain. He started to train in Spain briefly in 2007,[1] and after a hiatus of few years, he connected back to wrestling in Poland's pro wrestling federation Kombat Pro Wrestling, located in the northern region. In 2020 he joined newly founded federation Prime Time Wrestling, where he has developed most of his career. He has been one of the most recognizable faces of PTW, playing an important role and being present in every show; but also appearing in the European wrestling scene in various countries.
Prime Time Wrestling (2021-present)
[edit]Lopez was part of the polish wrestling promotion since its beggining. He competed in the first ever Battle Royal At PTW´s first ever show (Revolucja), which he eventually won,[2] granting him a Main Event spot at the next PTW show against Hungarian wrestling veteran Tamas "Nitro" Szabo.[3] Lopez has competed against a variety of talented wrestlers from all over the world, including former WWE/TNA/ROH and current AEW superstar Matt Sydal at PTW #2 BlackOut on Feb 19, 2022.[4] His charisma and in-ring ability granted him the chances of competing in numerous rivalries and gimmick matches such as Submission, Last Man Standing in an epic encounter with all-time rival Sinister at PTW #3 LEGENDS,[5] Handicap, Gauntlet or No-DQ matches
Other appeareances (2021–2024)
[edit]"Starboy" Nano Lopez has also competed in other countries, including a Main Event match for the Main Title of Danish promotion Nordic Elite Wrestling (NEW) against European top-star Carlos "El Guapo" Zamora on Sat Nov 25, 2023. Other appearences include shows in Spain for Lucha Libre Barcelona (LLB), for the absolute tile of Sevilla Wrestling (SEW) or Pro Wrestling Euskadi (PWE), along with other international shows in Italy (IWA[6]), Finland (SLAM!) or the UK (LDN).
Lopez has shown a natural talent for oratory and promos, providing multiple interviews, being a special guest in podcasts and other media appeareances[7],[8],[9],.[10] He has also been a trainer at the PTW´s academy.
After the end of the first season of Prime Time Wrestling in 2024, Lopez is currently pursuing new challenges, with the PTW Championship on the horizon.
