Draft:NNC2215

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NNC2215 is a bioengineered glucose sensitive insulin.[1]

The study was published on Nature on October 16, 2024.

Function

[edit]

NNC2215 can sense the glucose concentration. The protein's sensitivity is reduced when low concentration of glucose, thus reducing the risk of hypoglycemia.
