Murivu is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language psychological thriller film written and directed by K. Shemeer.[1] The film stars Ajai Vasudev, Sharook Shameer, Riyad Mohammed, Bhagat Venugopal, and Krishna Praveena.[2][3][4]
Plot
[edit]The film rounds about 'karma', a charitable trust run by Master Raghuvaran. Dedicated to providing shelter and support for abandoned and autistic individuals. When Rajeevan, a wealthy villager sexually abuses a young girl, the trusts inhabitants are compelled the cruel incident, they fight for justice.

Production
[edit]The film is produced under the banner Way To Films Entertainments and Beyond Cinema Creatives.[5] The msic rights were bagged by Goodwill Entertainments.[6]
Release and reception
[edit]Murivu was released theatrically in India on 14 June 2024.[7]
A critic from Times Now rated the film two-and-a-half out of five stars and wrote that "Murivu is an entertaining film with an array of characters that are designed to make you uncomfortable at times during the course of its runtime because of the issues it highlights".[8]
