Introduction
[edit]The Montreal Bicycle Specification was first proposed in 2024 in Montreal During Go Velo Montreal [1]. It was intended to help standardized consumer bicycles with the intention of simplifying the consumer experience. It is also intended that the standard reduces the inventory requirements and lead time of components in the local bicycle repair industry.
