Misha Lebeda, also Michaela Lebeda (Born May, 1st, 1985, Prague), is a Czech designer, health activist, project manager and a children's book author.

Life

[edit]

She was born in Prague. In 2004, she graduated from the French Lycee in Prague with a degree in mathematics. In 2009, she earned a master's degree from the Private College of Economics and Management.[1]

Professional career

[edit]

Early in her career, she was mainly involved in SAP systems implementation and salesforce. Currently, she is involved in project management, internal process optimization, change management, strategy consulting, PR and marketing, coaching and facilitation.

Health activist

[edit]

After eleven years of work experience in Belgium, in 2020, she found out she had endometriosis. Based on this experience she founded an ENDO Talks CZ, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting women suffering from the disease. The organization advocates for systemic changes to ensure quality care for endometriosis patients.[2][3][4]

Between 2019-2021 she served as the international spokesperson for the civic initiative Milion chvilek pro demokracii (Million Moments for Democracy), which organised massive protests in Prague in 2019 against Andrej Babis government.[5] Professionally, she continues to focus mainly on internal processes and systemic change (e.g. as campaign manager for the Czech Green Party in the 2024 European Parliament elections).[6]

During her time in Belgium, she established the design brand Gamine design and implemented a CRM system for Duo for a job, which helped the integration of foreigners into the Belgian labour market.[7] As an SAP consultant, she worked at Sibelga, a gas and electricity distributor in the Brussels region, mainly on smart metering projects.

Birth Centre in Ostrava

[edit]

Her project work is dedicated to the development of the Birth Centre at the University Hospital Ostrava. She is the moderator and co-author of the project Birth Matters (Na porodu záleží), which draws attention to appropriate birth conditions under the umbrella of the Propolis33 Foundation.[8]

Petr Pavel campaign manager

[edit]

Since 2022, she has joined the team of presidential candidate Petr Pavel in the role of community coordinator.[9] She also works as a lecturer at the Czech press agency CTK Academy. She is actively involved in supporting ventures and start-ups.

Books

[edit]

As an author of children's books, she published Julie flies into space (2020), which was self-published by the author and published in five languages.[10]
