The Ministry of Transportation of the Palestinian Authority is in charge of establishing a multimodal transportation system that satisfies international standards. It modernizes services, improves infrastructure, and strengthens institutional frameworks to increase efficiency and economic growth. The Ministry also updates rules and works with other agencies to improve overall transportation.[1]
History
[edit]The Palestinian Ministry of Transportation was established in 1994 after a presidential decree was issued by former President Yasser Arafat during the era of the Palestinian National Authority.
