Mila Troncoso (born 6 November 1991) is a Swiss-Chilean actress and writer known for her roles in film, television, and commercials. She gained recognition for her performances in the TV series Lion Moms and her lead role in the horror film Kiss from A Rose.
Early Life & Education
[edit]Camila Ignacia Sepulveda Troncoso, known as Mila Troncoso, was born on November 6, 1991, in Santiago, Chile, to a Swiss-Chilean family. Her mother, Carmen Troncoso, was a kinesiologist, and her father, Fernando Troncoso, was a pilot. In 2002, during the SARS outbreak, her family relocated to Singapore when her father joined Singapore Airlines.
Troncoso attended Canadian International School and Overseas Family School in Singapore, where she learned English, French, and refined her Spanish. She later attended Lasalle College of The Arts where she obtained her BA in Design communications.
Career
[edit]2019–2022: Career Beginnings and Television Work
[edit]At the age of 27, Troncoso began her acting career by enrolling in HCAC (Haque Centre of Acting & Creativity) [1] and soon started booking roles in commercials, including ads for Yoga Movement [2], Mana Chips and UBU Swimwear[3]. She then transitioned to television, with her first role as Natalie in Lion Moms (2019)[4]. She also appeared in TV shows like KIN, Adulting, and Sunny Side Up.
In addition to her TV work, Troncoso featured in international commercials for brands such as “thrilling project” [5] LEGO®, Rimmel London[6], Google, and Pringles. She also participated in immersive theatre productions with Universal Studios, Secret Theatre UK with director Richard Crawford her latest venture being Decode: Legacy is dubbed as the "world's first crypto-themed immersive theatre." by HashKey and Method Production SG[7].
2022–Present: Transition to Film
[edit]Troncoso made her film debut in the Tamil-language film Yennai Maatrum Kaahale in 2022, which earned multiple nominations and wins. Her breakthrough role came with the 2023 horror film Kiss from A Rose, for which she won several awards, including Best Lead Actress at the Depth of Field International Film Festival and Pune Short Film Festival.
She continued to build her filmography with notable roles in Stranger Eyes (2023), which was nominated for the Golden Lion at the Venice International Film Festival[8], and the psychological thriller I Am Not Alone. In 2024, Troncoso starred in the romantic drama Lorna, Atlas & Me, which further cemented her status as a lead actress, as well as being featured in The Damned Ones feature film entering the festival circuit in 2025.
Troncoso has also maintained a presence in television and web series, starring as Kate Kensington in the sitcom Living With An Expat (2023) and Sarah Tomlinson in the web series The Billionaire CEO’s Runaway Wife (2024).
Mila Troncoso, as a member of the LGBT community, has actively supported inclusivity through her collaborations with various brands. Notably, she partnered with Rye for their Pride Month scarf line, using her platform to advocate for LGBTQ+ visibility and representation. Empowering people to see the good in people within or outside the community alike.[9] As a member of the fitness community she also advocates for overall wellness, physical health, mental health.[10]

She has received Best Lead Actress awards from festivals such as the Depth of Field International Film Festival, Pune Short Film Festival, and Eastern European Film Festival.
