Beginnings
Miguel Kabankaya started in the world of sports playing basketball at Club Baloncesto Leganés, his next stop was the academy of Zentro Basket Madrid in which he stayed from Junior to the U21.
Kabankaya decided to leave basketball behind and make the leap to American Football in 2021 with the BlackDemons de las Rozas, a team in which he could not play a single game. The following year in 2022, he began his professional career with the Barcelona Dragons.
Professional
In his first year as a professional, Kabankaya concentrated with the Barcelona Dragons of the European Football League in which he played the season as a "Practice Squad". It was at the end of the season when for the first time he was activated in the "Roster" and he played his first minutes against Stuttgart Surge and the Vienna Vikings as Left Tackle. ↵After that year, Kabankaya decided to leave Spain behind and go abroad and play for the Potsdam Royals (Potsdam) of the German Football League (GFL) team in which he played a total of 15 games and 13 of them as a starter. ↵I finish the season in Germany being champion of the German Bowl and granting only 2 "sacks" playing Left Tackle. ↵He has currently signed again with the Barcelona Dragons and is once again making the step to European football.
