Career
[edit]Gokhale is the founder of Editorially (Editrix.ai) which helps the publishing process using artificial intelligence.[4][5][6][7]
Gokhale was previously a publisher at the Penguin Press Group, a publishing division of Penguin Random House India.[8][9][10] She has published several celebrated authors like Arundhati Roy, Salman Rushdie, Devdutt Pattnaik and Ramachandra Guha.[11][12][13][14] Gokhale was also a publisher for Amitav Ghosh, Jhumpa Lahiri, Sudha Murty, Nandan Nilekhani and Siddhartha Mukherjee.[11][15][16][17] She continues as a consultant at Penguin.[11]
Personal life and education
[edit]Gokhale is an alumnus of St. Stephen's College in Delhi, Columbia University in New York City and Jerusalem Editorial Fellowship.[18][19][20]
Gokhale was married to British historian Patrick French from 2007 till his death in 2023.[21][22][23]
Gokhale is a daughter of Namita Gokhale, an Indian writer and a director of the Jaipur Literature Festival.[24][25]
