Mary Catherine King Wallace is a contemporary artist born in Cheshire in 1973, in a council estate in Runcorn. She used art & nature as an escape from her unsettled childhood. She has always loved nature, animals & historic buildings. Her early works prior to her marriage in 2007 were signed M C King (her maiden name). Her art has always been derived from her love of nature, animals, people, the elements & historical buildings.
