In 1990, the tragic death of Marlene Warren occurred by gunshot while inside the home in Wellington, Florida. She had a long investigation because there were a lot of questions surrounding her death.

Sheila Keen-Warren implicated in Marlene's murder, had an affectionately complicated relationship with Marlene's husband, Michael Warren. The investigators did believe that Sheila and Michael were having an affair, and it did give them a possible motive. On the night of the murder, a clown, holding balloons and flowers, came to the Warrens' house, and after opening the door, Marlene was shot. That strange feature caught media attention and was one of the most important parts in the case.

It remained cold for years until 2017, when new evidence was brought forth to arrest Sheila Keen-Warren based on re-ignited interest in the case. After years of legal battles to finally formally convict Keen-Warren, she was sentenced but served only 17 months inside the prison walls.
