Mark Topal-Gökceli is a German manager serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of ÖBB (Austrian Federal Railways). He is also the leader of the European DAC Delivery Programme (EDDP), which is part of the European Union's initiatives to modernize rail freight transport by implementing the Digital Automatic Coupling (DAC) across Europe's rail networks.[1]
Career
[edit]Topal-Gökceli has been involved in various strategic projects within ÖBB, focusing on the implementation of new technologies in the railway sector. As the leader of the European DAC Delivery Programme (EDDP), he coordinates the deployment of DAC technology, which aims to improve interoperability and efficiency in the European rail freight system.[2]
