Maplerootz preschool was started in October 2024 in Davangere MCC B block, Kuvempunagar. The school is located in a vast 10,000 sqft area with enough room for activities and playground.
This school has a play and learn philosophy which encourages children to learn subjects while playing with the toys specifically designed to enhance their learning skills. This methos is vastly used in wesern countries and has made its entry in the last decade overcoming the conventional teaching techniques.

As far as the curriculam is concerned, Maplerootz strongly believes that Blackboard learning and learning by rote does not work nowadays. It has been identified that the early age from 2-6 years are one of the most important time for brain development and learning in a child. It has been proven by experts world wide that the capacity of a child to absorb concepts and learning is at the highest during these years. So, it is very necessary to identify areas of development and need to be focused on during these years of the child’s development to ensure that the same is imparted in an effective manner to the child. The child learns through experience and repeatedly performing activities that interest him / her. Hence, it is extremely important that a clear cut curriculum is defined and enabled by materials which can be used to develop a variety of skill sets, interests and intelligences in the child.
It aso has to be noted that all top preschoos are "PLAYBASED" as these are the years a child likes to explore more and absorb its findings.
