Mannamkonam Sri Bhagavathy Temple is a revered sanctuary dedicated to Goddess Durga, worshiped in her majestic form of Vana Durga. History

Mannamkonam Sri Bhagavathy Temple boasts a sacred history spanning over 350 years. Initially, Goddess Durga was worshiped on a deer horn, symbolizing her divine presence. Subsequently, a temple was constructed in her honor, and Peeda Prathishta was performed to consecrate the site. As part of restoration efforts, devotees built a new temple to replace the original structure. The Vigraha Pratishta was performed according to the sacred Ashta Bandham (അഷ്ടബന്ധം) ritual.
