The Maid in Malacañang trilogy is a Filipino period drama film trilogy created by Darryl Yap. Produced by Viva Films and Vincentiments, it consists of three films: Maid in Malacañang (2022), Martyr or Murderer (2023), and the upcoming Mabuhay Aloha Mabuhay; with the films serving as a fictionalized retelling of the events in the Marcos family.

Maid in Malacañang (2022)
[edit]Maid in Malacañang, as a 114-minute film, is a fictional retelling of the last three days of the Marcoses in the Philippines before being exiled to Hawaii during the People Power Revolution in 1986. Directed and written by Darryl Yap, it stars Cesar Montano, Cristine Reyes, Diego Loyzaga, Ella Cruz and Ruffa Gutierrez.
The film premiered at the SM North EDSA on July 29, 2022 before being released nationwide on August 3 of the same year.
Martyr or Murderer (2023)
[edit]Being the second installment of the trilogy, Martyr or Murderer is based on a fictionalized account of how the former president Ferdinand Marcos was accused of being responsible for the assassination of Sen. Ninoy Aquino.
Additional cast members include Marco Gumabao; who portrays a young Ferdinand Marcos, Jerome Ponce as a young Ninoy Aquino, Eula Valdez as an older Imee Marcos, Aga Muhlach as an older Bongbong Marcos and Cindy Miranda as a younger Imelda Marcos.
Martyr or Murderer was released on March 1, 2023. Prior to the film's nationwide release, it once again premiered theatrically on February 27, 2023 at SM North EDSA.
Future
