- Comment: see WP:NCOLLATH - needs to show sustained notability for individual play, not just playing on a notable team. lizthegrey (talk) 05:24, 13 November 2023 (UTC)

Magnus Møller (born 28 March 2003) is a Danish American football offensive tackle. Magnus is currently playing college football at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is the youngest European to have received an American Football college scholarship, having received his first offer at the age of 15 from Towson University.[1]
Early life
[edit]Magnus grew up in Vejle, Denmark & before switching to American football he practiced taekwondo; becoming the youngest in Denmark to get a youth black belt at the time. Prompted by elder brother Peter Møller [2], whom also played the sport, Magnus joined the Triangle Razorbacks of the Danish American Football Federation beginning on their Under 12 team. Due to his size & talent, Magnus was progressively moved up to the next age-group earlier, consistently gaining dispensation to play at a higher level, & ending his Danish football career playing for the club's Senior Elite team although he was technically still an Under 19 player.
Danish National Team
[edit]Prompted by his coaches at Triangle Razorbacks, Magnus first attended training camps for the Danish Under 17 National Team at the age of 14 [3] but due to injury Magnus' first games for the national team were at the 2019 IFAF U19 European Championships held in Bologna, Italy.[4] In 2021, at the U19 Nordic Championship held in Helsingør, Denmark, Magnus was named Speaking Captain.
College Offers
[edit]At the age of 15 received Magnus his first Division 1 college scholarhip offer from Towson University. Magnus later received offers from: Fordham University, University of Massachusetts, University of Fresno State, Brown University, Harvard University, Dartmouth University, Eastern Michigan University, University of Cincinnati, University of Central Michigan, University of Louisville, & the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign [5] [6]. Magnus made an official visit to the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the end of November 2021 [7] where he was recruited by Head Coach Bret Bielema & Offensive Line Coach Bart Miller. Magnus committed to Illinois on the 29th November, & signed his Letter of Intent on the 15th December 2021.
