Madden is an upcoming American biographical sports drama film directed by David O. Russell and written by Russell from an earlier version by Cambron Clark.

[edit]It was announced in May 2023 that Will Ferrell had entered early negotiations to star in the film as Madden, with David O. Russell set to direct.[1]
In April 2024, it was announced Hugh Jackman was now in the mix to star as Madden, with Tom Hanks entering negotiations to play Al Davis.[2] However, in August, Nicolas Cage would be cast to play Madden.[3]
Principal photography is scheduled to begin in late 2024.[2]
