MRTV Sports Channel is dedicated sports channel, owned and operate by Myanmar Radio and Television Test transmission start at 15 October 2013. in preparation for the 2013 Southeast Asian Games. For the first 10 years of channel existent, MRTV Sports didn't have regular programming lineup, only air when live sporting events and other live events are occur.[1]
On 1 August 2023, partnering with HEY Play Media, MRTV Sports is officially rebrand and become bilingual channel, time share with HTV Sports. MRTV Sports programming broadcast from 6am to 8am. HTV Sports programming broadcast from 8am to 10am. On the same day, MRTV Sports start broadcast regular programming. [2] [3]
HTV Channel is a bilingual television channel, time share with MRTV Farmers. Its broadcast HTV Channel programing is on prime time, and MRTV Farmers programing on early morning time. The channel was formerly known as MRTV Farmers Channel. Broadcast as full time service, from 15 October 2013, until 31 July 2023.[4]
