Logan Hugueny-Clark (born 1986), also known as his online alias LHUGUENY, is an American animator, director, musician, and YouTuber. He is known best for his YouTube channel LHUGUENY, which has over 3.7 million subscribers.[1]
Early life and education
[edit]Hugueny-Clark was born December 20, 1986 in Ojai, California.[2] In his early twenties, he was the drummer of a rock band called Hindu Kush. The band had one of their songs (titled "Day Fire)" featured in the film Lost Boys: The Tribe, and won the B.B. Blues Club Battle of the Bands competition. Soon after the band's feat, Hugueny-Clark left the band to focus on school.[2] He studied at Rhode Island School of Design, and graduated in 2010 with a BFA in Film/Animation/Video.[3]
Career
[edit]Upon graduating from RISD, Hugueny-Clark has done animation for projects such as Cheech & Chong's Animated Movie[4] (credited as Logan "lip-sync" Hugueny-Clark), and his own movie and video game animated songs.
Hugueny-Clark created his channel on January 28 2006,[1] uploading his hand-drawn animations produced at RISD, then uploading his own digital animation shorts, including Green Money Weed Connection, a cancelled animated series about a rap group, the first episode of which was publicly screened at the Australian International Animation Festival[5], Melbourne International Animation Festival, London International Animation Festival[6], and Animation Block Party[7] in 2011.[8]
