This is a list of hotels in Barcelona, covering current and former hotels that are among the most notable.
Barcelona had 519 hotels as of March 2016[1] including 35 five star hotels.[2] The high number relates to the facts that Barcelona was the fifth most visited city in Europe (after London, Paris, Istanbul, and Rome} in 2011; it had 5.5 million international visitors in 2011.[3][4]
