The University of Lucknow, established in 1920, is one of India’s oldest and most prestigious institutions of higher learning. Situated in the capital of Uttar Pradesh, it has a rich history spanning over a century, contributing significantly to education and research in the country. Founded by Raja Sir Mohammad Ali Mohammad Khan and other distinguished figures, LU was modeled after the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford.
