Parkinson was a British chat show, hosted by Michael Parkinson. It was first broadcast on BBC One between 1971 & 1982, but was revived by the BBC in 1998.[1] In 2004 the show moved to ITV1, where it remained until Parkinson announced his retirement in 2007. A total of 540 episodes were broadcast over 36 years.[2]
