Lillie Elliott worked as the pattern maker[1] for the team of four women recruited by NASA from Playtex (formally known as International Latex Coperation), a company specializing in the manufacturing of bras and girdles, who seamed and designed the spacesuits used by astronauts upon the Apollo 11 mission to the moon.[1]
